Alleyne has 30 total turnovers while averaging 32.9 mins/game. He has played in 17 games. That is less than 2 turnovers a game. He has had 1 other game in which he has had 4 turnovers (Radford). I don't know if they were at the end of game. He has had games with 0, 1, 2, and 3 turnovers. He isn't a turover machine. You are focusing on the end of 1 game.

Murphy has 31 turnovers. Mutts has 40 turnovers. SHould Mutts be off the floor during the last minute or two?

In fact, he has played in 17 games and has 30 turnovers. He is averaging less than 2 turnovers a game. And that includes the NC State game. So prior to the NC State game, he had 25 turnovers in 16 games....not too much over 1.5 turnovers a game

The problem is we have limited ball handling. IT does look bad, but how has been over the course of the season vs. this sample size that looks bad?

Pedulla and Murphy were both in at the close of the NC State game. That tells you something there. Other than that, you basically have:

Murphy: who does not look physical pressure and is prone to dribbling toward the (trappable) sideline)

Pedulla: a freshman

Cattoor: not a natural PG but can be a primary ball handler/distributor in small doses.

Maddox: a freshman that I would lack confidence in against pressure from a veteran team

Others would then be Mutts, Alevehelping to advance the ball.

BUT, those turnovers occurred in the moment from just having the ball in his hand (Alleyne). Two in a row just near the sideline after the inbounds.

Speaking of Alleyne, i am surprised he doesn't get called for carrying more.
